It seems that we aren't the only ones who've noticed that losing over 400 guns is actually something to write about. Over at teh Vancouver Sun, Neal Hall had this to say:
A group opposing Canada's firearms registry says it has discovered that 428 guns have gone missing from police forces or other public agencies.

As you may or may not already know, everybody's favourite meteorological melonhead (those who know him will get that one) decided to do his own little Daniel in the lions' den bit and went on Focal Point with Nancy Coldham (airs on Rogers TV in Newmarket, Ontario) on March 24th.
Officer Leroy Pyle, of the San Jose, California Police Department debunks myths about semi-autos. He uses demonstrations with live firearms and congressional testimony by DEA, ATF, and FBI agents to show what the truth really is. The video was originally made in 1989 and got Pyle a one-week suspension for his troubles. In his own words:
This video got me suspended for a week! My Chief couldn't stand the truth.
