I guess I shouldn’t be surprised; after all, there’s one for every other damn thing under the sun.
I’m not even sure what to say about this one…?
Guns go up, crime goes down
Now here’s a a neat party game for you to try sometime. The next time you hear some gun grabbing screwball yammering on about how good gun laws are and how the boogeyman will get us all if we don’t keep (and make more of) them, point them towards the little tidbit that’s duplicated below and then remind them that the US murder rate is careening towards the lowest point that it has seen since the turn of the last century. Yes, even in places like Detroit and Washington, D.C., the murder rate is heading for the basement.
That’s right: if the current trend continues, the homicide rate in the United States will drop to below what it was in 1901, sometime within the next 30 months. Within that same period, American gun ownership may — for the first time in history — rise to the level where there are as many guns in the US as there are humans.
Funny how that works out, isn’t it?
Destroy the last of the registry data, that is. And none too soon.
The Supreme Court (a gaggle of red ‘roos that I freely admit I rarely have any use for) has finally gotten something right and ruled 5-4 that the feds have no obligation to hand over the LGR data, finally putting the last nail in the coffin of the great Canadian white elephant.
This means that if Quebec wants a provincial boondoggle of their own to match the federal one, they’re damn well going to have to start from scratch (which, bizarrely enough, they say they’re going to do). Good luck with that.
Now all we need to do is sit back and enjoy the Large Ham Theatre® that will be coming from the usual suspects, promising doom and destruction from the loss of their beloved placebo.
Prototype stolen from SHOT Show
We gunnies and RKBA types like to think of ourselves as basically honest people, more so than the average Joe, even. Which only serves to tick us off even more when we hear about stuff like this.
From Lantac’s Facebook page:
Lantac USA is sad to have to make this post. A one off Titanium EBCG LanTac Carrier, the only one in existence was stolen from our booth during show hours! It doesn’t get much lower thank that. The Ti EBCG is the LanTac Pat Pend Forward porting BCG, the lower one in the pic without the forward assist serrations. If anyone can give us information of the whereabouts that leads to the return we will give you a reward. San Tan Tactical just called and added two matched billet sets to the reward. I love you man! Please can everyone post this everywhere!
Screw the reward, let’s just see if someone out there can’t help them find this arsehole, shall we?
